How Morrison Insurance Began.....

In 1923, H. B. Johnson started the Johnson Insurance Agency in Center, Texas. Tommie Eugene (T. E.) Morrison and H. B. Harris started the Morrison and Harris Insurance Agency in 1925. Thomas Earl (Tommy) Morrison joined them in 1949. In 1952, H. B. Johnson's Insurance Agency and Tommy Morrison's Agency merged and formed Johnson & Morrison Insurance Agency. For twenty-six years these men continued to be partners and friends. However, in 1978, Mr. H. B. Johnson retired and Thomas Earl (Tem) Morrison, Jr. joined his father in the business. The name changed to Morrison Insurance Agency. Jane Morrison, wife and mother, joined the business in 1984 when she received her license. Together, this family operation has continued to grow and prosper.
